Vancouver 2010 Winter Paralympic Games – Opening Ceremony

Members of the ParalympicsGB alpine ski team have travelled from Whistler to Vancouver to attend the opening ceremony of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Paralympic Games.

 Michael McCready, skip for the ParalympicsGB wheelchair curling team was the flag bearer for the ParalympicsGB parade. The alpine skiers and support staff followed the wheelchair curlers into the stadium at BC place which was filled with 60,000+ spectators.

The focused alpine skiers returned to the Whistler Athlete Village before the Ceremony concluded in order to be fresh for their on-snow training session tomorrow morning.
